At age 18, George used his first pay packet to feed the homeless in Sydney’s Hyde Park.
As a Director of Dyldam, one of Australia’s leading property development and construction companies, George was passionate about building communities.
Behind the scenes, George was a philanthropist who built lives. Meeting George was a turning point for many – apprentices who needed a start in life, the homeless who George would feed each week, his fellow Church members. He embraced life and loved sharing his table. Sadly, George was taken from his family and community in 2010.
The George Naim Khattar Foundation is inspired and honoured to continue George’s legacy of generosity.
